REGIS IRVING OF GOD'S ORIGINAL GANGSTAZ PASSES AWAY SUDDENLY

Regis Irving, a.k.a. Mr. Reg. N.I.C.E. (34) of the gospel rap group, God's Original
Gangtaz (G.O.G.'z), passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2000, due to complications
stemming from strep throat. G.O.G.'z, made up of Reg. N.I.C.E. and Preach D.O.G., signed
with Grapetree Records in 1995 and remained a strong act on the label through 1999.
"I just spoke with Big Tone of Str8 Young Gangstaz (S.Y.G.'z) and he said he just
talked to Reg. N.I.C.E. yesterday," said Knolly Williams, President and CEO of
Grapetree Music Group, Inc. "They were discussing plans for the upcoming S.Y.G.'z
album and Reg. was in high spirits, despite his sore throat. The Christian music community
lost a true soldier and comrad. Reg. was a dear friend."
Regis leaves behind his son Brandon and many loved ones. He touched the lives of thousands
around the world and will be dearly missed.
The Irving family is raising $5,000 - $6,000 to offset burial expenses.
